* We run workshops open to everyone called Free Horse Dreaming.
These workshops reveal the beauty of the Medicine Wheel and how
we can use it in our daily lives.

We explore "Journeying" which, amongst other things, enables
people to meet their Power Animals and Spirit Guides. We learn to
recognise and make the tools that aid Shamans/Shamankas in their
practice. We help people to identify and strengthen their Luminous
Energy Bodies - thus empowering them to self healing and Spiritual
growth.

We share Shamanic Healing techniques to facilitate participants
work with their friends and family.

Free Horse Dreaming - Introduction
to Shamanism
See Blog for Dates

A one day introductory workshop
exploring Shamanic Practice. In this
workshop we will cover the basic
techniques of journeying, divination,
psychic protection, tools and their
usage.
Good Cheer Craft Workshops are weekend
workshops delving into you inner creative
Spirit; they are times spent together making
different shamanic tools for ourselves,
including drums, rattles &
talking sticks.

Discover your hidden  talents and craft your
own Shamanic tools. These tools - the
drum and beater, the rattle, & the Talking
stick can be used for your own personal
and relationship healing, space cleansing,
as a meditation aid  or just for fun.

Amongst other things we journey to
discover the vital energy of each tool, talk to
the appropriate animal spirits and share
ideas and laughter!

We also facilitate other crafts including the
creation of Smudge fans, Medicine bags
and Dream Catchers.

You do not need any creative or artistic
talent just an open heart and the joy of
learning. We offer an enjoyable, supportive
and  co-operative experience.

Fire Ceremonies are included whenever
possible.

The Power of Compassion - Tibetan Monks from
Tashi Lhunpo Monastery
The Power of Compassion is a dramatic, entertaining and
informative ninety-minute performance of the majestic masked
dances and the sacred chant from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery -
one of the most important of Tibet's teaching monasteries.  The
monks, from their re-established monastery in exile in South
India, present a taste of the culture of Tibet, and of Tashi Lhunpo
Monastery in particular.
Workshops
hand gestures used in the Tantric rituals.  Depending on space
and numbers, it is also possible to teach some of the steps of the
dance, and participants learn some of the hand gestures used in
the prayer of Kunrik.

A ‘hands on’ workshop introduces the Tibetan arts of sand
mandala making, butter sculpture and the beautiful calligraphy of
the Tibetan script, and offers the opportunity to learn a few words
of Tibetan from one of the monks.  People taking part can carry
away with them a prayer flag printed from a traditional wood block.

There is an associated photographic display about the monastery
and the daily lives of the monks living there.
Here is a 5-min video clip showing a
performance, a workshop and sand mandala exhibition….

The monks also offer workshops for schools or mixed age
groups/families, giving an insight into the world of the Tibetan
monastery, and/or the visual arts of the Tantric tradition, such as
prayer-flag printing, butter sculpture and sand mandala making.
In association with a performance, the monks offer various different
workshops.  A pre- performance workshop/talk provides an
introduction to the dance, musical instruments and costumes used
during the performance, and an explanation of the mudras or

Shamanka: The Ceremonial Way
See Blog for Dates

Ceremony used to be an integral part of our
lives, it marked significant moments when
special events were commemorated or choices
made.  We renewed our connection to the
forces of Nature, the seasons and significant
times of the year-solstices, equinoxes.  We
offered gratitude for the gift of Life and affirmed
our connection to each other and the
Sacredness of Life at every single moment.
Group ceremony affirmed our connection to
each other within families, tribes and cultures.
We have lost this in Modern society and create
such super busy lives to fill this gap. This
weekend workshop gives you the tools to
create ceremony for yourself, friends and family
appropriate for the 21st Century.

Magical Woman Workshop
See Blog for Dates

We, as women, have been stripped of our
birthright as the Source of Life.  We have come
to believe in the superior potency of the
patriarchy.  We have suffered and lost our
connection with our Power, our Beauty and our
Truth.  So we try and survive the modern world
by adopting male attitudes.  This is causing us
great stress and dis-harmony…trying to be all
things for all people.  It’s just not working!  Over
the course of this workshop we will explore and
heal our wounding using the 5 ancient symbols
of Power...
The Free Horse Dreaming Team love to run our various shamanic workshops. Workshops
provide the opportunity for us to share the great gifts that we have received walking this Path.

We are braided hairs’- which means we don’t subscribe to a single cultural heritage, but
acknowledge and learn from wherever Spirit leads us.
We braid the wisdom as we walk the
‘Rainbow Path’- again symbolising the colours of all nations and peoples.

We are all the children of Mother Earth and as we move into the next stage of human evolution -
The Sixth Sun - we want to rejoice and celebrate the wondrousness of ourselves, and the
beautiful blue planet that we call home.
** We also run more specialised groups for women-only,
following the Woman’s Path which helps us rediscover the
Sacred Feminine within.

If during these workshops you feel that you would like to deepen
your healing knowledge and practices, we offer a one year training
in Women’s Shamanism and the Healing Arts – and we offer this
in conjunction with Eliana Harvey at the Shamanka School of
Women’s Shamanism in Dorset.
